LOUISVILLE -- A local cab driver with a "major foot
fetish" apparently has taken things a step too far, police
said.
Martin Phillip Jackson is
accused of kidnapping a woman over the weekend with the intent of
photographing her feet, WLKY NewsChannel 32's John Charlton reported.
Jackon, 39, was arrested Sunday and will be arraigned Tuesday.
Since the boyfriend of the alleged victim reported her missing, the
Metro Police Crimes Against Children Unit is leading the
investigation, and detectives said they think there are more women out
there who've suffered at Jackson's expense.
Early Sunday morning, the woman and her friend were leaving Fourth
Street Live and got into what they thought was a legitimate taxi, but
at the first stop, that's when things became fishy, CACU Captain Don
Burbrink said.
"The one girl got out and she said, 'I thought it
was kind of weird that the meter wasn't running, and when I asked
him how much,' he goes, 'It's on me,' and 'I
just thought that was strange.'"
It got stranger for the other woman, who, police said, was taken to
Jackson's apartment in St. Matthews. That's where the suspect stripped
the woman down to her bra and panties, forced her to put on
knee-highs, bound and blindfolded her and then took pictures of her.
"He kissed her feet, and he fondled her feet, but he
never went above the kneecap," Burbrink said. "And
as far as she knows, he never masturbated or anything else."
Jackson also made up a story to explain the bizarre circumstances,
Burbrink said.
"He kept telling her that there were other people in the
apartment that were watching her, so she shouldn't try to escape,"
he said. "And he was doing this because there were other
people who had his family kidnapped and that they were making him
do this."
But escape is exactly what the woman did after Jackson unsuccessfully
tried to use Pine Sol to knock her out, Charlton reported. The woman
untied herself, then escaped while Jackson was sleeping, Burbrink
said.
Later that afternoon, neighbor Lyle Frazier got a knock on his door
when the woman and police came to the neighborhood to investigate.
"She was holding the stockings that she had been tied
with," Frazier said. "I think she
wanted to get rid of them, but police told her to keep them
because they needed that as evidence."
After Frazier gave police some information about Jackson's other car,
investigators tracked him down at a restaurant nearby, Charlton
reported.
And once they got a search warrant, they found more than 100 pair of
packaged pantyhose, computers and digital cameras.
"They only looked really through one camera, my
understanding, as it was explained to me," Burbrink
said. "And there's what -- 25, 50 pictures on those
digitals, and there's probably 10 to 15 girls on those."

LOUISVILLE -- A judge refused to lower bond for a
man with a foot fetish who's charged with kidnapping.
That's where Jackson allegedly took pictures of her feet.
The woman told police she escaped when Jackson fell asleep, WLKY NewsChannel 32 reported.
Jackson pleaded not guilty, but his bond stayed at $100,000. He'll
be in court again next week.

Thank you for posting this. The story is much like the one
from Queens College in New York, a student became infatuated
with one of his classmates feet. He ended up breaking into her
apartment one night begging to suck and fondle her feet. It is
extremely sad when someone has to resort to kidnapping a woman
to finally live out his foot fetish fantasies. I am sure if he
acted normal and asked the woman out for a drink did some
casual flirting and offered to rub her tired feet she would
have agreed.
I guess we have to find out more about the story, if he
actually has kidnapped others or if this was the first
abduction and all the others in his camera and computer are
willing partners. The one part I don't understand is Metro
Police Crimes Against Children Unit is leading the
investigation that part is most worrying because some of those
photos had to be minors if they are leading the investigation.
Guys like him give foot fetishists a bad name.

was arrested on child endangerment charges after he
approached two girls on the street, questioned them about
their feet and asked them if they wanted to model socks
and sandals for him, authorities said. Andrew Marks, 42,
stopped a 14-year-old girl walking her dogs on May 7 and
asked her "inappropriate questions about her
feet" before driving away, Suffolk
County police said in a news release.
The girl told police Marks said he worked in the fashion
footwear industry and she could make $400 modeling sandals
in his product line, Suffolk district attorney's office
spokesman Bob Clifford said Thursday.
A week later, Marks stopped a 15-year-old girl, also
walking her dog, police said. That girl told police he
offered her money to model socks, took one of her shoes
off and massaged her foot for about 10 seconds, Clifford
said.
Both girls told police Marks asked them whether they liked
to have their feet massaged and requested their telephone
numbers, Clifford said.
Marks was found because police had a description of his
car and a partial license plate number, police spokesman
Officer Robert Boden said.
He was arrested Wednesday and arraigned Thursday on two
counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He pleaded
not guilty and was released on bail, his lawyer said.
"We believe he is not guilty, and we believe
the facts are going to bear that out,"
defense attorney Amy Cobert Haber said.
She said she believed Marks worked in the women's clothing
industry, but she didn't know where.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (May 29) -
Police seized more than 1,500 pairs of girls'
shoes from the home and storage unit of a man
arrested for breaking into a high school, police
said Tuesday.
"He liked to smell them,"
said Lt. William H. Graham.
Police said the recovered shoes may be related
to the burglaries of three Waukesha public high
schools and a middle school over the past two
years.
The 27-year-old Kenosha man, who was not
identified because had yet to be formally
charged, worked for a cable company and
collected keys to the schools as he responded to
calls, Graham said. The same man was convicted
in 2005 for stealing shoes from Kenosha Tremper
High School.
Police arrested him after a security video
showed him entering North High School on May 20
and leaving with some items, authorities said.
Officers searched the man's home and a rented
storage unit on Thursday, recovering the shoes
along with school yearbooks, keys, a bolt cutter
and other items.
The man was expected to be charged in Waukesha
County Circuit Court Tuesday, Capt. Mike Babe
said.

The 24-year-old woman was leaving work
around 1 a.m. Saturday when the
27-year-old man approached her and
demanded her keys and phone. After
that he removed her shoes.
Police say the woman was not hurt.
Police arrested the man a few minutes
later about four blocks away. The
woman identified the suspect and
police were able to recover her keys
and phone.
The man is in custody and has not yet
been formally charged.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) - Police questioned a
person of interest in connection with a series of bizarre "foot
fetish" attacks in Philadelphia.
An unidentified man was brought into the Special Victims
Unit early Tuesday morning to be questioned for seven
attacks on women from last November through January.
Police said the victims were robbed and sexually assaulted
before the suspect sucked on their toes.
Sources said the person of interest is one of many brought
in for questioning in the attacks.
On Monday, sources said DNA tests have revealed a second
suspect was responsible for an eighth attack in the 1700
block of Panama on June 8.
The man was later released and no charges have been filed.
Anyone with information on the attacks has been asked to
contact Philadelphia Police.

must pay a $200 fine.
James Lee Fink, 31, placed
119 calls from his cell
phone to the Chambersburg
(Pa.) Mall, 513 calls to a
Holiday Inn in Havelock,
N.C., and 17 calls to a
Comfort Inn in Chambersburg
between Jan. 1 and May 8,
2006, Pennsylvania State
Police Trooper Jeff Bopp
said Thursday.
The caller would ask the
women what kind of shoes
they were wearing and
whether they would show him
their feet if he came into
their store.
The man identified himself
as Brian Thompson, but State
Police used phone records to
link the telephone number to
Fink, whose last known
address was in Martinsburg.
Fink pleaded guilty to
harassment in August in
Franklin County Court in
Pennsylvania. He was
sentenced Wednesday.
In addition to a fine,
Franklin County Court Judge
John Walker ordered Fink to
serve a year on probation.
Fink also was ordered to

A Minneapolis man has
been charged with
robbery after police
say he robbed a woman
of her keys and cell
phone then took off
her shoes and licked
her toes.
According to the
criminal complaint,
Carlton Jermaine
Davis, 26, approached
a woman who was
leaving work around 1
a.m. Saturday. He said
to her, in a very
demanding voice, "put
your cell phone
and purse inside
the bag".
The complaint said
that the 24-year-old
woman was frightened
so she complied. After
giving Davis her
belongings he demanded
she take her shoes
off. She complied and
Davis responded "Now
I'm going to suck
your feet".
The victim told police
that she was too
shocked and scared to
do anything. Davis
then tried to suck her
neck but as he
approached her some
people walked by and
he took off.
Police arrested the
man a few minutes
later about four
blocks away. The woman
identified the suspect
and police were able
to recover her keys
and phone.
Davis has been charged
with simple robbery
and theft from a
person, both felonies
and his bail is set at
$20,000.

- Police are
searching for
two suspects
in connection
to a series of
attacks on
woman in which
their toes are
fondled,
sources have
said.
The sources
have told CBS
Philadelphia
that DNA tests
now reveal not
just one, but
two separate
predators are
targeting
women.
Beginning last
November
through
January, seven
women were
victimized by
an attacker
who sexually
assaulted the
women and
fondled their
toes.
In the latest
attack, a
woman in her
20s was
walking in the
1700 block of
Panama Street
at about 2:45
a.m. when she
was attacked
by an unknown
male armed
with a knife
on June 8.
Police said
the victim was
beaten, raped
and robbed
before the
suspect sucked
on her toes.
Sources have
said that this
8th attack was
committed by a
different
suspect.
"It's pretty
disturbing
that there's
one person but
a copy cat of
somebody that
disturbed is
equally
disturbing,"
neighbor Blair
Halpin said.
Now police are
trying to
figure out if
it was a copy
cat who was
trying to
throw police
off-track by
making it a
fear that the
crime was
committed by
the 'toe
fetish'
attacker.
Capt. John
Darby of the
Special
Victims Unit
confirmed that
the DNA
findings are
in but the
final report
will not be
available

- A man who
has accosted
five Center
City women has
an unusual
method of
attacking his
victims.
Police tell
NBC 10 that
the subject of
a manhunt in
Philadelphia
has groped
victims' feet
as part of his
routine when
he sexually
attacks women.
A composite
sketch of the
subject was
released
earlier this
week.
One victim
told NBC 10
about her
encounter with
the man.
"When I walked
to the door to
put the key in
a man put a
gun to my side
said if you
make a noise
ill blow your
head off,"
she said.
She did
everything by
the book. She
tried not to
be alone, she
had her cell
out and keys
were ready.
But she became
an armed
attackers
fifth victim
anyway.
"He
made me take
off my boots,
he sucked my
feet, made me
kiss him and
groped me. He
let me go and
said if I told
anyone he
would put a
bullet in my
head."
The gunman's
fifth victim
has been
speaking about
her attack and
she wants
other women to
be on alert
and know even
if you do
everything to
try and
protect your
self, he can
still strike.
Police say the
man has struck
five times
never in the
same place,
but his MO is
the same. He
finds a woman,
early in the
am or at
night, a woman
who is alone
and he robs
her and gropes
her.
The victim's
description of
her attacker
fits the
description
given by four
other women
robbed and
assaulted last
week --
including two
on
Thanksgiving
morning. The
attacker
reportedly
robs the women
at gunpoint
and then
forces his
hand down
their pants.
The latest
incident
occurred on
the 1800 block
of Pine Street
and police
were still
searching for
the attacker
Monday.
Last
Wednesday, a
55-year-old
woman was
attacked at
17th and
Folsom
streets, and
days earlier a
21-year-old
was groped on
South Street.
On
Thanksgiving,
police said,
the man struck
twice in the
early-morning
hours, first
at 24th and
Walnut streets
and then at
25th and
Spruce streets
near a popular
dog park.
Investigators
said the
attacker might
have hidden by
the Schuylkill
River in
between those
two attacks.
