I was at my desk, on another Thursday afternoon. I was planning to work a couple of hours, into the evening. At about 3:30, 1 heard that wonderful sound of flip flops, coming my way. The walking stopped at the cubicle next to me. I knew there was no one in there. So, the person 1 was hearing walked over to me.

Mona is one of the quietest people in the entire office. Some days, people aren't sure if she has come in for work, because they hadn't heard her make a sound all day. She was wearing a bright yellow blouse and matching pants and of course, the flip flops, that caught my attention, in a heartbeat.

"Do you know how long Hanna will be away from her desk?" she asked. "She dropped some claim reports on my desk, to be examined and I wanted to know if there were any of these she needed to have handled first."

"She's in a meeting," I responded. "Meetings can go for an hour to who knows how long. I'II be sure to tell her to find you."

She thanked me and headed back to her desk. Hanna came by, about ten minutes later and I told her that Mona was looking for her. It was then that I remembered that Mona worked the shift that goes into the evening. At about six o'clock, I could use the good old excuse about taking a stretch break and give her a visit.

It was 6:15, when I quietly made my way to her end of the floor. Fortunately, this was another one of those situations where there weren't many people still working around her. If I wanted to be a cut up. I wouldn't cause a disturbance.

When I got to her desk, she was sitting and stirring her coffee, with her left leg crossed over her right. She looked surprised to get a visitor.

"Did you get everything worked out with Hanna?" I asked. "I told her you needed some kind of clarification."

"Yeah." she answered. "I got everything taken care of and all the cases have been examined and completed."

I sat in a chair, just to the left of her desk. After a couple of comments about the weather, I patted her on her left knee and told her how nice she looked, in a yellow outfit. She thanked me, then began to giggle. I just had to ask what was so funny.

"Peggy has told me that you're a tickler," she responded. "You like to tickle her feet. You're touching my leg. You're going to tickle my feet, aren't you?"

"I didn't realize that this kind of news gets around the office." I said. "Now that you mention it, if it wouldn't make you mad or anything, I would love to tickle you."

She got up and looked out of the entrance of her cubicle, to be sure no one else was around, then came back and sat in her chair.

"The coast is clear." she said. "No one is around. No, don't worry. I won't get mad at you. I sort of like being tickled."

That made me wish I would had tried to strike up a conversation with her a long time ego. I took her by the ankles and placed her right foot on my left knee and her left one on my right knee. I gently removed those wonderful flip flops and began drawing circles on her insteps.

"Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha, that tickles, but it feels good," she commented. "My feet are so cold. They have the A. C. cranked up high today."

"Yes. it is cold in here," I replied. "Or maybe it just seems that way, because it is so
freaking hot outside. But, if your feet are cold, I have just the thing to fix that."

I held her feet closely together and cupped my hands around the tops of them. When I started breathing on them to warm them up, Mona really started giggling.

"Oh, that feels so weird." she said. "But, it also feels so good. I enjoy being tickled." She didn't have to say anymore. I immediately went back to tracing up and down her soles, with my fingertips. Her laughter picked up, when I began playing with each of her toes.

"How many others do you think Peggy may have talked to about this?" I asked.

"I don't know really know." she replied. "She told me and I was kind of hoping we might be able to get together like this. I just didn't know how to bring it up."

I tickled her heels for about 30 seconds, then heard people coming out of the break room. I put those flip flops back on and stood up.

"Piss," she whispered. "Other people are coming around. We have to go back to acting normal. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. We'll can try again, if it's okay. "

"It is more than okay," I responded. "For a second, I was a little embarrassed, when you said that Peggy told you about me being a tickler. Now, I'm glad she told you."
