I wanted to relay the input of a past lover of mine with regards to foot fetishes and tickling. She expressed that it may have much to do with a restrictive religious upbringing. She thought that such an upbringing did not allow for normal sexually focused attention on the regular or mainstream aspects of a woman's body.

It was taboo to look at or focus on breasts, buttocks and the like, but that could not be said for the feet OR for tickling. Both of them are reasonably unloaded sexually unless one specifically connects them by actions or thoughts. Feet are generally joked about and not thought too deeply about, though we can see a great latent potential in the increase of foot shots in film, tv and print advertisements, but nothing out front yet.

My partner took it as a matter of fact that I, a past altar boy and ultra-Christian devotee from early on would focus so gloriously on her feet, wonderful meaty feet as I refer to them. Some of my strongest memories of church are looking at women's feet as we all knelt in the pews. Their feet were easily visible under the pew just ahead of the one I was leaning on. Their shoes would always pull away from their feet as they knelt there, solemn and quiet. It all added a sense of seriousness to my growing feelings.

I loved to see their feet in stockings, the smooth textures over the soles of their pretty feet. I recently met a woman at work who also has a foot fetish. She also shares a very restrictive religious background. Her thought processes are very reserved, but she was VERY open about her fetish with me. She was a little shy though, at first, when she first approached me about how nice my feet look. I do spend some time on them. Women love how nice they look as I wear sandals as much as weather permits! I love the attention.
